Another Close Call in the Family Pairs

June 17th – This evening over at Belmont BC, Neil and Jonathan played Wandilea for  a place in the semi-final of the Surrey/Sussex zone of the National Family Pairs competition. On a rink that proved to be quite tricky, the game was always tight but it was Neil and Jonathan who managed to get to the final end with a one shot advantage. On the final end, and whilst WPBC held two shots, the Wandilea skip fired taking the jack out of the rink. On the replayed end honours went to Wandilea who picked up the two shots they required to win 21 – 20.
