Another Double Triples Success

5.7.22 This evening two triples matches took place at Wimbledon Park. First to finish were Richard F, Pete and Martin who played South London in the District Men’s Triples. Starting strongly, and drawing consistently, Wimbledon Park booked their 1/4 final place, (where they will play Barry, Richard S and Neil,) with a 19 – 12 win.

The second match saw Barry, Richard S and Neil take on Malden Manor in the Area Final of the Surrey Men’s Triples. A very close game saw the teams locked at 6 – 6 after 10 ends. Malden Manor then upped the pressure to lead 15 – 8 with two ends remaining. Incredibly, on the final two ends, WPBC picked up a 3 and a 6 to book their 1/4 final spot with a 17 – 15 win.
