Another Strong Performance in the League

10.8.19 – This afternoon we travelled to Magdalen Park for our latest league fixture. In a windy, and at times showery, match Anne, Rosalind, George and Martin managed to win 14 of the 21 ends. With 25% deducted as the home team was a player short, Martin’s rink was the winner by 21 shots to 8. Matt, Ange, Richard and Barry led 18 – 12 at 17 ends, but a strong finish saw Magdalen Park pick up 8 shots in the final four ends to win 20 – 18. Claire, Sam, Ossie and Neil led 10 – 7 after 19 ends but a strong second half saw Wimbledon Park to a 26 – 14 win. Match result 8 – 2 (65 shots to 42).
