Club 2-Wood Handicap Pairs

On Sunday afternoon, after several days of unpredictable and inclement weather, 16 bowlers, randomly drawn into 2 groups of four pairs, took to the green, to play three matches of 6 ends, in the Qualifying Rounds of the Two Wood Handicap Pairs.

As the only unbeaten pair Pete and Matt E progressed as Winners of Group, 1 to play Group 2 Runners Up Vera and Luke in the Semi-Finals. Having won Group 2, on shot difference, Neil and Anita came up against Group 1 Runners Sue F and Rosalind, in the Semi-Finals, which were extended to eight ends.

While Pete and Matt E progressed to the Final, with an end to spare, the other Semi-Final went the distance, with Neil and Anita winning through, with the Final being played at the Club Finals Weekend.
