Could the Ladies Retain Their Title?

14.8.22 This afternoon saw the annual match between the Ladies and the Men. After last year’s terrific performance, which saw the Ladies win the Memorial Cup, the question was, could they do it again? The Pairs, played over 6 ends, saw two tied games and one narrow win for the Men. The Singles followed, again over 6 ends, with the Men winning 5 games to 1. After refreshments, the Triples saw further high quality bowls, with the Men just edging the two games to win this year’s Memorial Cup 9 – 2.
