Defeat in the League

Aug 5th – This afternoon we welcomed Mitcham for our latest league match. Mary, Luke, Ossie and Neil had a tough encounter losing 12 – 32 as did Ange, Rosalind, George and Pete who went down 9 – 29. Anne, Christine, Sabrina and Barry made a real battle of it. With the lead having already changed 5 times, the scores were level at 17 – 17 with one end to play. The final end proved to be decisive as Wimbledon Park picked up a count of 5 to win 22 – 17. Match result 2 – 8 (43 shots to 78).
