District Men’s Pairs – Can You Spot the Musical Connection?

21.6.18 – This evening, up at Heathfield, Pete and Martin played the opening round of the Wimbledon and District Men’s Pairs. Starting strongly Wimbledon Park led 6 – 2 after 5 ends, only to see their opponents claw their way back to lead 10 – 8  after 13 ends. With Pete and Martin winning 6 of the remaining 7 played ends, Tchaikovsky would have been pleased as the winning score saw WPBC advance to the next round 18 – 12.
