Double Defeat in Today’s Surrey Competitions

12.6.18 – This afternoon Barry travelled back to Heathfield for the next round of the Surrey Men’s Secretaries’ competition. After a close start, home advantage told as Heathfield advanced to the Area 1 semi-final with a 21 – 10 win.

This evening Barry, Martin and Neil were at Streatham Park for the Surrey Men’s Triples. After leading 8 – 3 after 6 ends, Wimbledon Park saw Streatham Park level at 10 ends, 8 – 8. Close exchanges continued, but it was Streatham Park who advanced to the next round with a 16 – 12 win.
