Down to the Last End…Again!

June 15th – This evening Pete and Martin played Southwark Park in the Surrey Men’s Pairs. With a place in the Area 1 semi-final at stake the game was nip-and-tuck throughout. After 14 ends the scores were level at 14 – 14, three ends later and again they were locked at 17 – 17. After 20 ends the score remained tied at 19 – 19. With all to play for on the final end, it was WPBC who picked up three shots to win the game 22 – 19. Congratulations to Pete and Martin on achieving the club’s third Surrey area semi-final this year.
