First Home League Match

21.5.23 – This afternoon we hosted Heathfield in our first home league match of 2023. With two very close rinks, Sallie, Dez, Richard F and Barry overcame a 5 – 11 deficit after 11 ends, to win 15 – 14, whilst Anne, Mike, Bob and Pete got to 11 ends at 8 – 8, before Heathfield finished strongly to take the game 18 – 17. Sue F, Rosalind, Bobby and Richard S, found their opponents in top form, going down 13 – 29. Match result 2 – 8, (45 shots to 61).
