Home League Match v Heathfield

Today saw our opening league match as we hosted Heathfield. In a close encounter Rosalind, Gail, Vernon and Richard S narrowly lost 17 – 18. In another tight game, Anne, Richard F and Martin just lost 12 – 16, amended to 9 – 16, for playing with only 3 players. In the final game Sallie, Claire W, Sabrina and Barry found their opponents in fine form going down 13 – 27. A big thank you to all players, especially to Gail, Claire W and Sallie who made their league debuts today.
