Home Win in the Mid-Week Triples

28.5.25 – This afternoon we welcomed the Merton Maverick’s to the green for our first home mid-week triples league match. Sue F, Pete and Martin had a close game and after 15 ends were only 3 shots up. Winning the final three ends saw them take the game 19 – 12. Vera, Barry and Neil got off to a flier and were 10 – 0 up after three ends. Despite Merton rallying in the middle of the match, WPBC went on to win 24 – 9. Match result 8 – 0 (43 shots to 21).
