League Match v Heathfield

19.5.24 – This afternoon, we headed over to Heathfield for our first weekend league match of the season. Unfortunately we were down to 11 players due to ill health and then lost another player who had to dash home mid-match, so the going was tough! First to finish were Mark, Caroline and Neil who played all game with a player short, going down 5 – 24. Second off were Bob, Jay (who had to dash home), Dez and Richard F who ended 11 – 24, leaving Sue F, Rosalind, Anne and Claire T last to finish, putting in a strong second half performance to go from 1 – 12 at 6 ends to finish the game at 10 – 17. Match result 0 – 10 (26 shots to 65).
