Mid-Week Triples Match v Merton

30.7.25 – This afternoon we were away at Merton for our latest Mid-Week Triples match. Sue F, Vera and Pete won 14 of the 18 ends securing the win 26 – 5. Mark, Richard F and Martin started strongly to lead 9 – 2 after 6 ends. 6 ends later and the scores were tied at 11 – 11, before Merton won 5 of the remaining 6 ends to win a hard fought game 17 – 13. Match result 6 – 2 (39 shots to 22). Thanks to Sue F for being captain for the day.
