Mixed Results in This Evening’s Outside Competitions

4.6.19 – This evening Sabrina welcomed Heathfield to Wimbledon Park for the Surrey Ladies’ Unbadged Singles. With a place in the Quarter-Finals at stake there was a lot to play for. The game turned out to be a tight one, with both players battling away and with the lead changing hands a number of times before Heathfield clinched the game 21 – 16.

Over at Gonville BC, Rachel and Neil played their second game in the National Family Pairs. Drawing well from the start they opened up a 12 – 4 lead after 11 ends and went on to book a place in Round 3 with an 18 – 11 win.
