National Champion of Champions – It Couldn’t Have Been Closer

23.7.18 – This evening Neil welcomed Cheam in the Surrey semi-final of the National Champion of Champions Competition. Starting well, Neil led 7 – 4 after 6 ends, unfortunately the next five ends went to Cheam leaving Neil 7 – 16 down. Six ends later and the game was level at 17 – 17. Three ends later and the score was level again at 20 – 20 before Neil’s opponent took the final single required for a 21 – 20 win.
