This evening over at Southey, Sara and Neil played Southey/South London in the opening round of the National Mixed Pairs. In a slightly different format of 3 bowl pairs, played over 18 ends, Wimbledon Park got to the half-way point with the scores at 8 – 9. Further close exchanges ensued in the second half, before their opponents pulled away to take the game 20 – 10.
