Not to be in the District Over 60s Singles

26.6.18 – This afternoon Derek hosted Belmont in the Wimbledon and District Over 60s Singles. Starting well Derek led 4 – 1 after 2 ends, but unfortunately for him it was not long before his opponent, already through to the Area Final of the County 2 woods competition, got into his stride. In a match that lasted nearly 2 hours it was the Belmont bowler who advanced to the next round with a 21 – 11 win.
