Not To Be In This Morning’s Competitions

22.6.19 – This morning Pete and Neil played the Quarter-Final of the Surrey Section of the National Over-55 Men’s Pairs. Starting strongly they led 13 – 5 after 8 ends as they played North Sheen. 6 ends later the scores were level at 15 – 15, but that was as close as things got as a flick on the jack from Neil transformed the 16th end costing Wimbledon Park a count of 6.

Up at Heathfield Sabrina played the District Mixed Singles. After early exchanges Heathfield put together a run of 7 winning ends to open up a 15 – 6 lead. 10 ends later Sabrina had closed the gap to 16 – 19, before Heathfield got across the line to win 21 – 16.
