Surrey Over-55 Men’s Fours Quarter-Final

12.7.23 – This evening, down at Cranleigh BC, Richard S, Pete, Martin and Neil played Epsom Park in the 1/4-final of the Surrey Over-55 Men’s Fours. Leading from the start, WPBC built up a 16 – 7 lead before Epsom Park came back to barrow the gap to 17 – 16 with two ends to play. Picking up a three on the penultimate end was enough for Wimbledon Park to be able to drop 2 on the last end and still book a place in the semi-finals with a 20 – 18 win.
