Surrey Triples – Triumph or Tragedy?

June 6th – This evening Barry, Martin and Neil visited Heathfield in the Surrey Triples. 9 ends in and the home advantage was telling as Heathfield led 15 – 5. Three ends later the deficit was down to 5, before Heathfield pulled away again to lead 19 – 14. The final ends belonged to Wimbledon Park, however it proved to be too little too late and Heathfield advanced to the next round with a 20 – 19 win.
