The 12th District Quarter-final Place is Secured

July 18th – this morning Neil played Southey in the District Champion of Champions competition. Struggling early on, Neil managed to peg the scores back to level at 7 – 7, before his opponent opened up the lead again, going on to win 21 – 14.

This evening Barry and Neil played South London in the District Men’s Pairs. After close exchanges in the opening ends, which saw the WPBC bowlers just edge ahead 7 – 5 after 7 ends, winning six of the next seven ends provided a lead of 24 shots to 7. The final result saw Barry and Neil through to the quarter-final with a 31 – 14 win. Thank you to Martin for his support this evening.
