Top of the Table Clash in the Mid-Week Triples League

27.8.25 – This afternoon over at Carshalton we had our penultimate Mid-Week Triples match of the season. In a clash between the league’s top two teams there was a lot to play for. Mark, Pete and Martin started strongly to lead 11 – 4 after 8 ends, 5 ends later and Carshalton had closed the gap to 15 – 11, before WPBC took the last four ends to win 21 – 13. Richard F, Richard S and Neil were locked at 9 – 9 at 9 ends, before a strong second half saw them to a 26 – 16 win. Thanks to Caroline for her support at Carshalton. Match result 8 – 0 (47 shots to 29).
