Top Ten Triumph

17.7.22 This morning, a day after playing them in the league, we were back at Wandilea to play the 1/4 final of the District Top 10 competition. Neil managed to win a close Singles game 21 – 16. Claire T and Martin picked up a 4 and a 2 in the final two ends to win the Pairs 14 – 13. In the Triples, Richard F, Bobby and Barry kept the score close throughout, until Wandilea picked up a 6 on the last end to win 18 – 10. In the Fours, each time Wimbledon Park pulled away, Wandilea closed the gap, but WPBC managed to hang on to win 19 – 15. The match result was incredibly tight, with Wimbledon Park just winning 64 shots to 62.
