Wimbledon and District Mixed Triples

July 4th – This evening Sabrina, Barry and Neil welcomed Mitcham in the opening match of the Wimbledon and District Mixed Triples competition. In a change to the normal triples format, each bowler only bowls with 2 bowls and it was Wimbledon Park who started the stronger to lead 11 – 1 after 6 ends. 8 ends later and Mitcham had battled back to trail 10 – 13, but the final ends went to WPBC who secured a place in the second round with a 17 – 10 win.
