Win in the Weekend League

29.7.18 – This afternoon, on what turned out to be a wet and windy one (and we haven’t been able to say that for a while), we welcomed Bolingbroke to Wimbledon Park. Bolingbroke unfortunately played with 9 in their team meaning that, as with us yesterday, their Triples lost 25% of their shots at the end of the game.

First to finish were Maggie, Ange, Pete and Martin who led 13 – 1 after 7 ends going on to win 24 – 8, which was adjusted to 24 – 6 with the deduction. Second off the green were Luke, Sara (making her league debut), Vernon and Barry who had a close game throughout, pulling away to win 21 – 17, adjusted to 21 – 12. The final rink to finish were Claire, Anne, Steve and Neil who finished 19 – 23 down on the green but ended up winning 19 – 17 after the 25% deduction. Match result 10 – 0 (64 shots to 35).
