Mid-week League Victory

1.8.18 – August got off to a bright start with our mid-week league match away at Streatham Park. Anne, Ange and Barry took an early lead and were 12 – 3 ahead after 7 ends. The middle part of the game belonged to Streatham Park who had narrowed the gap to 14 – 11 after 13 ends, but Wimbledon Park finished well to win 18 – 13. Rosalind, Vernon and Neil were 4 – 7 down after 7 ends but a solid second half saw them pull away to win 20 – 13. Match result 8 – 0 (38 shots to 26).
