27.7.21 Wimbledon and District Top 10 Competition

This evening saw Wimbledon Park take on Wandilea in the Wimbledon and District Top 10 competition. At home Neil secured a 21 – 15 win in the Singles. In the Fours, despite some rallying from Sara, Ange, Ossie and Martin mid-game, to close the gap to 13 – 16 after 16 ends, Wandilea finished as winners by 24 – 13. Over at Wandilea the Pairs and Triples were played with Claire and Barry picking up 7 shots in the last three ends to narrow the score to 15 – 28. In the Triples, Anne, Richard S and Pete found their opponents in fine form going down 4 – 20. Thanks to Rosalind for marking the Singles and to Sallie and Richard F for their support.
