4th District Semi-Final Place Booked

11.8.19 – This morning we played South London in the 1/4-Final of the District Top 10 Competition, defending the title that we won earlier in the year. At S London, the Singles saw Neil win 21 – 11 with Claire, George, Richard and Martin picking up 3 shots on the last end to narrowly lose the Fours 19 – 20. Back in Wimbledon Park, Sabrina and Barry put up a strong showing in the Pairs to win 28 – 20. Mike, Ossie and Pete, in the Triples, found their opponents in fine form and despite picking up a 6 on the 10th end went down 10 – 19. Match result a win 78 shots to 70, giving Wimbledon Park a place in the Semi-Final.
