Mid-Week Triples League v Magdalen Park

10.9.25 – This afternoon, due to the kindness of Heathfield BC, our final Mid-Week Triples match took place up at Heathfield as we played Magdalen Park. Sue F, Pete and Martin were first off the green and having started strongly to lead 16 – 3 after 9 ends, continued to play well in the second half, going on to win 28 – 11. Barry, Vera and Neil led 12 – 2 after 9 ends and, despite dropping a 6 on the 16th end, went on to win 20 – 12. Match result 8 – 0 (48 shots to 23). Many thanks to Richard F for his support up at Heathfield. Today’s win secures us the Division 2 title and promotion to Division 1 next year.
