On Friday over at Wallington BC, Barry, Richard S, Pete and Neil played the opening round of the Surrey Senior Fours. In a close match, scores were level after 6 ends and despite Wallington opening up a 13 - 7 lead after 14 ends, two ends later WPBC had closed the gap to 12 - 13. The final two ends however went to Wallington and with it the game 17 - 12.

On Thursday afternoon Sue F, Richard F & Peter and Anne, Vera & Martin took to the green, for our first Midweek League match, back in Division 1, against Merton Park Tornadoes. 12.9.25 - This evening, up at Belmont, the District Finals got underway with Neil playing Belmont in the Final of the Mixed Singles. In a very evenly matched game, each time one player began to pull away the other player came right back to close the gap. In a tense final end Neil managed to pick up three shots to take the title 21 - 19.
