Mid-Week Triples League v Merton Park

On Wednesday afternoon we were away at Merton Park in the Mid-Week League. Pete, Vera and Martin started strongly, winning 6 of the first 8 ends to lead 13 – 4. Merton Park then mounted a come back and with one end remaining the scores were tied at 19 – 19. Unfortunately the final single went to Merton Park who won the game 20 – 19. Sue F, Dave and Neil had a tight start and were locked at 8 – 8 after 10 ends, before winning 6 of the remaining 8 ends to take the game 22 – 12. Match result 6 – 2 (41 shots to 32).
