29.7.25 - This evening Caroline and Mark were away at Southey for the District Over-55 Mixed Pairs. Although Caroline and Mark both enjoyed the competition and were pleased with the improvements in their drawing, the home players were in fine form and it was Southey that booked their place in the semi-final.

27.7.25 - This afternoon Rosalind and Martin were away at Belmont in the ¼ - final of the District Mixed Pairs. A strong showing from WPBC saw them book their place, and the club's 7th place, in the district semi-finals with a 25 - 14 win.

Caroline, Richard F, Claire T and Richard S started well leading 8 - 3 after 6 ends. 5 ends later and South London had edged ahead by 1. 24.7.26 - This evening Barry, Matt D, Martin and Neil were away at Belmont for the 1/4 - final of the District Men's Fours. In the tightest of encounters, and with the lead changing hands no fewer than 6 times during the game, it was WPBC who advanced to the clubs 6th district semi-final with a 17 - 16 win.

21.7.25 - This evening, Neil was up at South London playing the District Men's Singles. Neil started well leading 14 - 1 after 8 ends, his opponent then settled and began to draw well, getting back to 10 - 19, before Neil secured the win 21 - 10, to book the club's 16th place in the District 1/4 - finals.

19.7.25 - This evening Neil was up at Belmont for the District Mixed Singles. With Neil's opponent starting well, Neil was 3 - 6 down after 6 ends, before a change of mat length saw him take the lead, edging ahead to win 21 - 12. This gives WPBC our 4th place in the District semi-finals.
