5.9.25 - This evening, up at Heathfield, Neil played Southey in the Semi-final of the District Men's Singles. In a very close game the scores were locked at 7 - 7 after 9 ends and again at 10 - 10 after 13 ends, before Neil picked up 10 shots in the next three ends, going on to win 21 - 12. The win gives the club its 8th place in the District Finals.

4.9.25 - This afternoon, up at South London, Neil played Heathfield in the Semi-final of the District Mixed Singles. With both players drawing well a close game ensued. Although the score did not reflect the closeness of the game, it was Neil who managed to secure the club's 7th District Final place with a 21 - 7 win.

In a close fought contest, where on only two of the eighteen ends more than a single was scored, it was Belmont who advanced to the final with a 14 - 7 win.
