League Match (home) v South London

On Saturday afternoon we welcomed South London for our latest Weekend League match. Caroline, Bob, Vera and Dave were locked in a close game with the scores tied at 7 – 7 after 10 ends. A strong finish saw WPBC take 7 of the remaining 8 ends and with it the game 17 – 9. Elaine, Mark, Richard S and Neil had built up a 13 – 3 lead at the half way point and continued in the second half to take the game 22 – 7. Anne, Rosalind, Claire T and Martin led 8 – 2 after 9 ends and despite South London winning 5 of the remaining ends, completed their rink win 15 – 11. Match result 10 – 0 (54 shots to 27).
