District Over-55 Mixed Pairs

On Sunday morning Caroline and Mark were up at Heathfield for the District Over-55 Mixed Pairs. Caroline and Mark settled quickest taking singles on the first three ends, before Heathfield bounced back to lead 12 – 4 after 9 ends. Despite winning 4 of the next 6 ends, to close the gap to 11 – 17 with three ends remaining, WPBC fell just short and it was Heathfield who advanced to the semi-final with a 23 – 11 win.
