District Ladies’ Singles

On Thursday afternoon Sue F played her Ladies’ District Singles against Temple. Playing last year’s Ladies’ Singles winner, Sue held her own and after 14 ends the scores were locked at 10 – 10. Further close exchanges continued and after 21 ends, there was still nothing to separate the two players with the score at 15 – 15. At 26 ends, and with the score still level at 19 – 19, it was the defending champion who just got over the line in a marathon 27 end match with a 21 – 19 win.
