August 6th - this morning at Wimbledon Park Sabrina played Heathfield in the quarter-final of the Wimbledon and District Ladies' Singles. Starting strongly Sabrina opened up a tidy lead which she built upon to book the club's 7th semi-final spot with a 21 - 9 victory.

August 5th - what an evening! Wimbledon Park had players in three of the district quarter-finals. Over at Colliers Wood, Sabrina, playing in the Mixed Singles, came away with a 21 - 5 win. August 4th - this evening Barry, Derek, Neil and Jonathan hosted Heathfield in the quarter-final of the District Fours. In a close encounter Wimbledon Park were playing catch up for much of the game and with two ends to play they were four adrift. August 3rd - this evening Pete and Martin hosted Raynes Park in the quarter-final of the Men's Pairs. Starting strongly Wimbledon Park led 8 - 0 after 3 ends, increasing the lead to ten shots by the sixteenth end. August 2nd - this afternoon Jonatan and Neil travelled to Wilstead BC in Bedfordshire to play for Surrey as they took on Beds. Jonathan, leading, with the Surrey President playing at two, posted a 19 - 14 win, whilst Neil, playing at two helped his rink to a 24 - 12 winning margin. July 31st - this morning Cherry and Sabrina took on Heathfield in the quarter-final of the Ladies' Pairs. Starting well, WPBC were 5 - 0 up after 4 ends. Unfortunately for the home pair, their opponents then found the green to their liking and the game changed with Heathfield ending up as winners by 24 shots to 9.

July 30th - this afternoon we welcomed South London to Wimbledon Park for our latest league fixture. Matt, Claire, (playing in her first league game) Sabrina and Barry started well and were 8 - 3 up after 6 ends, 7 ends later and South London led 17 - 8.
