16.8.21 Through to Our 3rd District Final

This afternoon Anne and Neil were at Belmont to play Mitcham in the Semi-Final of the District Over-55 Mixed Pairs. Starting well, Wimbledon Park moved in to a 13 – 6 lead, only for Mitcham to come back to lead 15 – 14 after 17 ends. The final ends were close and a measure on the last end went to Mitcham who levelled at 17 – 17. The extra end saw the lead change hands 4 times and it was Anne and Neil who ended up on top, booking the club’s  3rd place in the District Finals.
