1st Place in the District Finals

18.8.18 – This afternoon Barry, George (substitute for Pete), Martin and Neil travelled to Streatham Park to play Wandilea in the semi-final of the District Men’s Fours. With some great drawing bowls from the front end, backed up by some tidy cover bowls by the back end, Wimbledon Park led 14 – 2 after 6 ends. The lead had increased to 22 – 8 after a count of 8 was picked up on end 9. Hands were shaken at 16 ends with WPBC booking their place in the final on 9th September with a 30 – 13 win.
