29.5.21 What An Open Day!

29.5.21 – Today’s Open Day was a huge success, as we took part in Bowls England’s national recruitment initiative, ‘The Big Bowl’s Weekend’. Nine club members supported the Open Day, masterminded by Barry, as we welcomed 22 visitors to the green, to receive free coaching and an introduction to our great sport. At the end of a truly memorable day, we welcomed our 3rd and 4th new bowlers to the club in 2021, as Claire and Gail, having enjoyed the taster session so much, became members of WPBC.
