2nd District Final Place is Secured

19.8.18 – This morning Neil played Wandilea up at Heathfield in the semi-final of the District Mixed Singles. Early exchanges were close apart from the 3rd end when Neil dropped an untidy count of 4. At 5 – 7 down after 7 ends, both players continued to draw well but the game swung towards Neil who moved to lead 16 – 7 after 15 ends. 3 ends later and it was Neil who had advanced to the final with a 21 – 8 win.
