4.6.21 Surrey Singles Start

4.6.21 – This afternoon, Neil welcomed Mitcham to a very wet Wimbledon Park for the next round of the Surrey Champion of Champions. Despite a strong start, which saw Neil lead 6 – 0, it was his opponent who settled better going on to take the game 21 – 15. Over at Heathfield, Richard S played the opening round of the Surrey Singles and a strong performance saw him post a 21 – 10 win. Unfortunately Neil’s opponent from Heathfield was unable to play due to an accident and so Richard S will take on Neil in the next round next Friday.
