5th Place in the District Finals

29.8.18 – This evening, up at Heathfield, Claire (sub for Sabrina), Barry and Neil played Wandilea in the semi-final of the District 2-Wood, Mixed Triples. Wandilea started well picking up 2 on each of the first two ends before Wimbledon Park won the next 6 ends, including picking up a count of 5, to lead 12 – 4 after 8 ends. Wandilea then rallied, winning 5 of the next 6 ends to trail 10 – 13 before WPBC closed out the game to book their place in the final with a 17 – 10 win.
