6th District Semi-final Place is Secured

6.8.18 – This evening Neil hosted Wandilea in the 1/4 final of the District Men’s Singles. In a topsy-turvy game Neil started slowly and was out-bowled leaving him 1 – 11 down after 7 ends. A change of jack length saw Neil gain some momentum and after 12 ends he had taken the lead 12 – 11. At 15 ends the scores were level at 14 – 14 when, with Neil holding three shots, his opponent was unable to continue due to an on-going back condition. A really unfortunate way to end the game and we send our best wishes to Neil’s opponent for a speedy resolution to his back problem.
