Club 2 Woods Competition

5.8.18 – This afternoon 12 players took to the green for the early rounds of the Club 2 Woods. Two pools of 6 players played round robin matches over 8 ends, followed by a 10 end semi-final. At the end of the pool stage Neil topped Pool A with 15 points, followed by Pete on 12 then Barry, Sara and Anne all on 9 points. Martin topped Pool B with 14 points, followed by Luke on 12, John B on 11 and Claire on 9. The semi-finals were both very close with Pete edging out Martin 8 – 7 after an extra end was required and Neil squeezing through against Luke 8 – 5. The final will be played on Finals’ Weekend the 1st/2nd September.
