A Double Exit in the District Mixed Singles

Aug 14th – This evening over at Southey, George played the re-arranged Quarter-final of the District Mixed Triples. Battling hard throughout, George pulled back from 3 – 9, to 7 – 11 after 13 ends, only to see home advantage tell as his opponent pulled away again, going on to win 21 – 11.

Up at South London Neil played Southey in the Semi-final of the same competition. With his opponent settling quickly and drawing consistently, Neil found himself chasing the game and struggling to get shots on the board. Final score 6 – 21.
