Another District Semi-final Place – Our 7th!

Aug 15th – This evening Pete and Martin took on Barry and Neil in the Quarter-final of the District Men’s Pairs. Starting well, Barry and Neil led 5 – 1 after 3 ends only for Pete and Martin to settle in to their game and open up a 16 – 7 lead 10 ends later. With 5 ends to play the score was 19 – 11 before Barry and Neil won each of the remaining ends, however the strong performance from Pete and Martin was sufficient to see them through to the Semi-final with a 19 – 17 win.
