A Game of Two Halves

June 28th – this evening over at Croydon, Derek, Barry and Neil played Croydon in the Area Final of the Surrey Men’s Triples. Against the home team WPBC found the going tough and by half way were 4 – 15 down. A strong second half performance saw them pull back to 13 – 17 with one end to play, but a single on the last end saw the game, and the place in the Surrey Quarter-final, go to Croydon.
