A Pair of District Singles Successes

July 7th – This evening George hosted Wandilea in the Mixed Singles. Starting strongly, George led from the off, extending his lead to 18 – 11 after 15 ends, before his opponent closed the gap to 18 – 14. Two ends later and it was all over as George had won 21 – 14.

In the Men’s Singles, Neil hosted Streatham Park. In close exchanges the lead changed hands 4 times before the scores were level at 11 – 11 after 12 ends. 6 ends later and Neil was 20 – 11 ahead, also going on to win 21 – 14.
