A tough start in the Wimbledon and District Men’s Singles

15.6.18 – This evening Neil welcomed Wandilea in the opening round of the Wimbledon and District Men’s Singles. Getting off to a flying start on what proved to be a very testing rink, Neil led 13 – 3 after 9 ends, only for his opponent to rally and take the next 7 ends to lead 14 – 13. Winning 7 of the final 9 ends saw Neil through to the next round with a 21- 16 win.
